Mark Andy Infrared (IR) Lamps

We supply replacement lamps for all Mark Andy infrared (IR) dryers.  There are two common type of quartz IR lamps used in Mark Andy flexographic presses: Medium wave lamps, with a "tipped overcap ceramic fitting and short wave lamps, with a metal sleeve and wire leads. We also supply the P-21841 replacement sockets for Mark Andy lamps.

Mark Andy Medium Wave Infrared (IR) Lamps

Mark Andy Medium Wave

Standard medium wave lamps have a ceramic fitting, and typically measure one-half inch in diameter.  Unlike quartz halogen lamps, these are not sealed at the ends- the filament is attached to the caps to hold them on.

P-21841 Sockets for Mark Andy Medium Wave Infrared (IR) Lamps

We supply the special sockets for these Mark Andy medium wave lamp with the "tipped-overcap" ceramic end fitting, under part number P-21841.  It's a good idea to check the sockets when you replace your lamps, since a worn or broken socket can shorten lamp life considerably.

Mark Andy Metal Sleeve

Standard quartz-halogen lamps typically have a metal sleeve with wire leads, and are also three-eighths of an inch in diameter.
